Through the generous support of sponsors, Mascwacis Education School Commision provided a free two-week camp to students focused on improving and expanding math skills. The camp ran from July 10 thru to July 21, 2017. Key sponsors included, Intellimedia, as well as the University of Alberta.

Maskwacis Cultural College Scholarship Program

Maskwachees Cultural College was established in 1974 as a Cultural Centre by the Cultural/Educational Centres Program of Indian Affairs Canada. t was formally created by the Four Bands of Hobbema, and it focused more on maintaining the historical record of Plains Cree culture and history. Maskwachees also became a support centre for the Cree Language development and teaching in the community.
